Academic Director of Audio Production Program
The Art Institute of Austin is currently seeking a strong candidate to lead its Bachelor of Science degree program in Audio Production. Qualifications of a viable candidate are as follows:
• Master’s degree in the field or a related field (or bachelor’s degree in the audio field with over 10 years of professional experience in the audio production industry).
• Five or more years of professional experience in audio engineering/production or related industry experience.
• Three to five years teaching experience preferred.
• Held positions of increasingly responsible experience in the industry and/or education.
• Fiscal and personnel management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act effectively as a member of a team.
• Ability to interact successfully with academic as well as business and regulatory personnel.
