I was doing a shoot not long ago for the WL Gore company. The interview subject had a very interesting outlook on this topic. Basically he said, "What happens if I'm wrong about global warming and it's not really happening? I've saved some gas, not polluted as much and made the world a better place. What happens if the people who believe that global warming is a bunch of crap are wrong? We all suffer."

Maybe it's better to lean toward conservation anyway. :-)
