mic technique for a game show

Hi,

I am doing a recording of a game show which consist of 5 contestants and a the host. Everything will be going straight to the DV Cam which consists of 2 inputs. Well, my plan is to put radio mcs on everyone, pan the contestants on one channel in the stereo mix and the host on the other channel.

If you think I am wrong please feel free to give me tips.

I would go this way too.

Is there only one camera ? More cameras means more audio channels. Some DV-cams offer 4 channel recording with lower audio quality, perhaps acceptable for voice recording ?
