The job position announced last year in this forum is still unfilled so let me repeat some of the previous posting:
The School of Film and Television at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California has an opening for a full-time tenure track position in Recording Arts. Rather than try to paraphrase the job notice, I'll simply note that the emphasis is on film sound (both production and post-production) and those interested should visit the LMU SFTV web page where job opportunities are listed:
http://www.lmu.edu/PageFactory.aspx?PageID=1725
Besides the job description for Recording Arts, please look over the "Additional Information for All Applicants" link.
The deadline is December 1 so if you're interested please make inquiries soon.
