From Paris to Canada

Hello,
I've studied sound design in a school for 3 years. I'm planning on immigrating to Canada (Montréal or Toronto if possible), but i don't have any contact over there. Does anybody know what the best studio are in these cities/area? Any tips are verry welcome.

Hi mjbj82,

I am from Toronto. The post industry in Toronto isn't that huge but there are a couple of big post houses in town. You can try the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Canada's national broadcaster. There is also Toybox, they do a lot of big post jobs. I'm not too familiar with Montreal but you may want to consider it over Toronto especially if you can speak fluent french. There is a definite culture that is distinct from the rest of Canada over there with a LOT of French-Canadian programming.

I arrived in Montreal a couple of weeks ago. I'll give the place a shot be if it don't work, I'll definitly come over there and check the places you indicated me.
